District Overview
The Michigan District, LCMS is one of 35 districts of The Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod. We exist to serve 335 churches, 1 missions, 5 high schools, 66 elementary schools, and 118 preschools in the State of Michigan.

Beliefs, Practice and Confessions
Being "Lutheran," our congregations accept and teach Bible-based teachings of Martin Luther that inspired the reformation of the Christian Church in the 16th century.

Mission/Vision
Our congregations are filled with people of HOPE! Our living hope, indeed our joyful and confident life and witness to the world, comes from the transforming power of the Gospel and the resurrected Christ.

Target & Outcomes
Being People of Hope, Michigan District congregations and ministries will share the Good News of Jesus with people who do not know him.

Constitution & Bylaws
Congregations considering changes to their constitution or bylaws should submit the proposed changes through the District President’s Office for review before presenting them to the Voters Assembly for final adoption.

Annual Ministry Report
Annual Ministry Report is available for viewing/printing. Please share this with your leadership boards and members.
