The Michigan District has four Vice Presidents representing our four regions. They work closely with the District President.

The Michigan District is divided into four regions and 41 circuits. Each Circuit Visitor serves as ecclesiastical supervisor (representative of the District President) in his circuit. Circuit Visitors meet with pastors for support and encouragement. They also help vacant congregations by setting up pulpit supply, working with call committees, and providing support in times of need.

This is the official administrative resource for congregations within the Michigan District (LCMS) navigating the transition of leadership. It provides the procedural framework and spiritual guidance necessary for "calling" (hiring) a new pastor or commissioned church worker.

This serves as the official administrative hub for all matters related to the triennial conventions of the Michigan District of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS).

The Sower’s Fund of the Michigan District, LCMS was initially established in February 1992. The fund was established as a result of needs that arose for which there were no budget funds.

Our archival mission is to collect, preserve, and make available institutional records about the history, administration, congregations and people of the Michigan District, LCMS.
