The Education Office is committed to the growth and health of one of the largest networks of Lutheran schools in the country. We support our 130+ schools and early childhood centers as their faculty and staff partner with families in the education of 16,000+ students on a daily basis.

Early Childhood Education

Our early childhood centers (ECCs) range from a traditional half-day preschool working with three and four-year-olds to larger centers providing daycare for infants through Young Five’s programs. Twenty campuses throughout the state also have a GSRP classroom. Each of our ECCs serves its community by providing quality, Christ-centered care.

The Early Childhood Cabinet supports the continued education of our early childhood educators.

Elementary Schools

The vast majority of our elementary schools serve students from preschool through 8th grade. With 66 elementary schools across the District, they represent the largest group of students and families that we are privileged to educate.

High Schools

There are five high schools within our Michigan District. Valley Lutheran in Saginaw and West Michigan Lutheran in Wyoming are independent high schools. The three others are a part of the Lutheran High Schools Association - Lutheran North, Macomb / Lutheran Northwest, Rochester Hills / Lutheran Westland.
